Ми говорили сьогодні передусім про оборонну та безпекову взаємодію. Португалія є учасницею нашої танкової та авіаційної коаліції. Сьогодні Португалія підтвердила готовність долучитися до тренування українських пілотів та інженерного складу на літаках F-16. Ми також обговорили можливості для розширення оборонної співпраці, зокрема щодо постачання Україні броньованої медичної техніки й обладнання для розмінування.
Дуже важливо, що Португалія приєдналася до декларації «Групи семи» стосовно безпекових гарантій для України. І ми розраховуємо на спільну роботу заради відповідного двостороннього документа.
Окремо хочу подякувати за те, що Португалія підтримала Формулу миру, бере участь у спільній роботі з партнерами. Готуємо Глобальний саміт миру, і Україна буде вдячна Португалії і за участь у саміті, і за участь у підготовці саміту з урахуванням її можливого лідерства в залученні учасників із регіонів Глобального Півдня.

Today, we talked primarily about defense and security cooperation. Portugal is a member of our tank and aviation coalition. Today, Portugal confirmed its readiness to participate in the training of Ukrainian pilots and engineers on F-16 aircraft. We also discussed opportunities for expanding defense cooperation, in particular regarding the supply of armored medical equipment and demining equipment to Ukraine.
It is very important that Portugal joined the “Group of Seven” declaration regarding security guarantees for Ukraine. And we count on joint work for the sake of a corresponding bilateral document.
I would like to thank Portugal for supporting the Peace Formula and participating in joint work with partners. We are preparing the Global Peace Summit, and Ukraine will be grateful to Portugal both for participating in the summit and for participating in the preparation of the summit, taking into account its possible leadership in attracting participants from the regions of the Global South.
