ALEKSEY MOZGOVY

Aleksey Mozgovy is described as the commander of a separatist force in Ukraine’s Luhansk region.  He is responsible for training separatists to fight against the Government of Ukraine forces and has called for regions in Ukraine’s southeast to unite in order to achieve their separatist objectives.  Mozgovy is being designated because he is responsible for or complicit in, or has engaged in, actions or polices that threaten the peace, security, stability, sovereignty, or territorial integrity of Ukraine and is a leader of an entity that has, or whose members have, engaged in actions or policies that threaten the peace, security, stability, sovereignty, or territorial integrity of Ukraine.
