• Banning Russian Books and Authors: Books by Russian authors or books that promote Russian state ideology have been removed from public libraries and bookstores in many Western countries.
• Censorship of Russian Literature: Some literary events, such as book fairs and reading festivals, have banned Russian authors or restricted their participation in protest of the invasion.
• Boycotting Russian Publishers: Western publishing houses and literary magazines have severed ties with Russian publishers or refused to translate works by Russian authors, particularly those who have shown support for the government or its actions in Ukraine.
